Small Part / Soft Tissue Ultrasound
Soft tissue ultrasound procedures are an excellent method for visualizing trauma, swelling, cysts, nodules, and other abnormalities of soft tissues such as the thyroid, scrotum, and testicles. Your doctor may request that you undergo one of these ultrasound tests to diagnose and recommend medical treatment. The knowledgeable ultrasound techs at Lindsay Ultrasound & Xray Centre will take care to ensure that all aspects of your soft tissue ultrasound are as comfortable as possible.

A Lindsay Ultrasound tech will walk you through all aspects of your scrotal ultrasound (testicular ultrasound), Breast Ultrasound or Thyroid ultrasound. All of these procedures are extremely safe and painless, and can be conducted fairly quickly.
The experienced technologist at Lindsay Ultrasound Centre will use a transducer (probe) and ultrasound gel directly on your skin to send high-frequency sound waves through your body. The transducer then collects the sound waves as they bounce back off of your internal structures, and a computer translates this information into an image. A doctor can then interpret the images to make an accurate diagnosis and determine next steps.
